i absolutely love my school! (refers to emma's post, which i have kindly exerpted some for you)
(start of exerpt)
" "OMGGG TEACHERS ALERT! I SAW TWO TABLES OUT OF LINE IN CLASS XXX! EMERGENCY MEETING! NOWWWWW!"
pretty self explanatory, i'm not telling you what's that. you can have a go at it ;D
Imagine if buying the calendar's compulsory. Sigh i don't want to pay, i can buy a plate of hokkien mee, a plate of duck rice, two cups of sugarcane juice and two bowls of tang yuan at market 85 with that amount. That'd prolly fill me up to the brim, and i wouldn't have to eat for the next 100 years. That's exaggerated, but hey, nothing here's non-exaggerated *stares at sentence above*
i'm not lying. Its a fact, because i take pity on our poor teachers too. personal note: never be a teacher here, until ___________________.
everything here's censored for our/my own good, i wouldn't want to be seen on stage or anywhere..here's another fact, everybody's complaining! They're fearful of the *points up* people, so we'd have entertaining facts during lessons. So, we students have to 1) sweep the floor from 7am to 3pm, 2) we have to allign our rows neatly or else our teachers might be called off for emergency meetings, 3) we must have the calendar on the door under the fan,4) we must have a spotless classroom..5)... 6)... 7)... 8)... (until infinity)..
being clean and neat is good, but being obsessively clean and neat is another issue.
monitoring us is good, but monitoring us about everything is yet another isssue.
what i'm saying is, we're living in a state of trauma.
We do not have a moment of peace here, and i feel strangled.
here's what happens everyday:
"4L! quick pick up the litter! allign your rows! where's the dustbin? how many times must i remind you, what if miss xxx comes by and check?" (then rants about how hard a life a teacher must lead)
something like that.
you see, *points up* people nags at teachers (all day), teachers nag at us (all day). So we rant here (almost all day). Perfect example of chain effect.
Anyway, i've already cut my hair so i'm safe for spotcheck tomorrow. (grins). i'm SO going to shave my head botak one day. Hasslefree and of course, safe. But who knows, maybe xxx'll catch some random person for not shaving their xxx / xxx in the near future.
did i mention, i'm experiencing BAD HAIR DAYS. LIKE TODAY. I'M GOING TO HATE WHOEVER SAW MY MESSY HAIR TODAY! D:"
"and we found out the horrible, corrigible pungsai truth :PURCHASING OF THE CALENDARS ARE COMPULSORY.so yeah, pungsai. 10 bucks down the drain. NO, its *lists out alot of food* down the drain. So, to commemorate this special event of us buying calendars as a school for the sake of our poor, poor school
and here's the best part. The school is being TOTALLY unreasonable and weird, because they spent close to half an hour doing spotcheck for the secfours' hair. For guys....
and came back with close to 30 males lined up at the stage. PRCs included. Some of them were practically bald, so what's wrong with their hair? -.- Sideburns they say. They're natural, man. Everytime they put a guy in that line of display, we would gasp in total utmost shock and horror; "OMG, HIS HAIR WHERE GOT LONG?! LIKE THAT ALSO NEED TO CATCH?!"
totally unreasonable, although they've acknowledged that those guys have had their hair cut, they still had to put them up. Quite of a laugh though, mrpoh even managed to cut some hair off my classmates' heads. -__-
i think all guys should have botak heads. They're so fashionable, cool and shuai. Not. -.-
School's been a torture these days, and i've been loaded with other lame pungsai stuff like the "CLASS RULES POSTER" thing by monday.'
cmon, are we a concentration camp or are we a secondary school?"
(end of exerpt)
great stuff, isnt it? wonder whether you all lower sec people have suffered the same fate as us?
just face it. im having a mixed up day.
(okay i dont mean to brainwash you with sth else, it's the damn bloody truth!!!)haha but you should have seen how kayat cut his hair! so cute! he didnt get caught of course XD, but your two wonderful jon's did.. even christopher tan.. and the prcs. esp the prcs. i mean, i thought that the prcs would have hair so perfect (or rather, the school is so biased towards them they never even catch them if they dont wear school socks)okay, im sorry. i love my chinese scholar friends.it's just like some s'poreans say: the people in charge of us do favour foreign talent. like sports, they favour the foreign talent, and brush us aside. i do admit im feeling a little jealous, but they do help spore to shine, just that - it's not us. see?nvm, im feeling crappy about the crappy calendar. but - shant let sth like that spoil my day! loves, isabel(oh man do notice i didnt use my nick. blehx.)
kawaii!;
